About the Dunlap Community Foundation

The Dunlap Community Foundation was created to strengthen the future of Dunlap by supporting local projects, organizations, and initiatives that make our community a better place to live, work, and grow.

Launched in 2024 through the generosity of community members and supporters, the Foundation exists to turn local giving into lasting impact. Funds donated to the Dunlap Community Foundation are invested for long-term growth, allowing resources to be reinvested back into the Dunlap area year after year.

The Foundation partners with the Harrison County Community Foundation to provide professional fund management and investment services, helping ensure financial sustainability and responsible stewardship of donated funds. While administrative support is provided through this partnership, decisions about grant funding remain locally guided by a rotating advisory board made up of Dunlap community members.

The Dunlap Community Foundation offers a grant application process annually, supporting nonprofit organizations and projects that address community needs and enhance quality of life in Dunlap. Grant opportunities and timelines will be announced as they become available.

Thanks to the generosity of early donors, Founders Club members, and supporters, the Dunlap Community Foundation is already preparing to make its first grants — an exciting milestone that reflects the strength, pride, and generosity of the Dunlap community.
